Sri T. Devender Goud in the memory of his father established "Sayanna Goud Memorial Educational Society" in the year 1988 at Tukkuguda Village, Maheshwaram mandal, R.R. District with an objective of imparting education to all sects of people especially in backward areas. "Sayanna Goud Memorial Junior College" was started in Tukkuguda Village in the year 1989. Now the college is run with all faculty, such as CEC, HEC, MPC and BPC and every year more than 300 students are appearing for public examinations from this college. Even today it is the only college imparting intermediate education in the entire mandal of Maheshwaram. Sri T.Devender Goud has firm belief and opinion that backward class students have knowledge and commitment for studies at par with the other students but they need some encouragement for their development and studies and the best way of imparting education is Gurukula Vidya i.e., Residential School and as a part of commitment to the people and to this place, and to establish a residential school in this area the society has gifted 10 Acres of land along with 5,000 sft of constructed area in Srinagar Village to the A.P Residential School in the year 2005 and named as "Dr. Tulla Yadaiah Goud Charitable BC Residential School" and more than 600 BC students are benefitted by studying in this school. There are many schools in and around Maheshwaram Mandal, but there is no school which has sufficient infrastructure and facilities for overall development of the students and there was a need for such a day school. "Devendra Vidyalaya was established in the year 2006 at Tukkuguda Village" Imbibing all the high standards both in infrastructure and teaching. The strength of the school is more than 800 Students. There are many students, who cannot study in good schools because of their economical backwardness and as a part of commitment to the needy students irrespective of the caste, creed or religion, the society is sponsoring scholarships to all the deserving candidates and every year more than 150 students are benefitted with this.
